-Kino told the people they couldn't explain how they made the meal because they were making it all up on the spot (obviously). -On one hand Kino's food is demonstrably terrible, on the other, they inwardly harbor a hope that they're actually a genius when it comes to cooking... -They personally found nothing wrong with the food they prepared.
